Atex applications in cosmetics
Once again, a highly flexible filling system for products from A for acetone to Z for zinc shampoo was put into operation at a well-known customer from the cosmetics industry. Changeover times of less than four minutes (excl. CIP routine) are a matter of course thanks to a comprehensive automation concept. For this project, ours Multifill filling machine was used in combination with the VR-mp (Monoblock) capping machine. The dosing takes place here by means of an oscillation piston filler.

Countdown to Fachpack 2021
When the Fachpack organizers announced in April that they would “definitely let this year's fair take place” either in the usual form as a “life event” or – if necessary – alternatively as a digital event, one or the other quickly became skeptical in the industry voice heard.
No matter what the decision will be at the last moment: Wick-Machinery will be there again and again and has prepared numerous innovations for the “real” as well as for the “virtual” visitor.

On the occasion of the “50 years of Wick Machinery” anniversary, the Viennese economy published an article about our company.
The term “tailoring for special machine construction” hits our spirit, our daily work and our focus on the point. With focal points such as “Filling technology 5.0” (see article from 2018), followed by “Filling technology 50.0” in 2021, we are continuing successful ideas for the benefit of mankind with joy and conviction.

Compact filling technology for bottles with spray pumps
For start-ups, niche providers and, above all, fast-growing small and family businesses, Wick-Machinery has been a partner-like companion at eye level since the founding years. In this specific case, we were able to manufacture and deliver a filling machine and capping machine tailored to its individual needs for a producer in the CBD sector. Short changeover times, minimal dead spaces and easy cleaning were at the top of the wish list, as were clear and clear processes with minimal space requirements.
In this specific case, the result was a filling machine from the Minican 50 series with a servo-driven oscillating piston filler. The decision to use this dosing system was due in particular to the viscosity of the filling medium and the expected pressure fluctuations in the product feed.
