Who is Wick Machinery?

Wick-Machinery is an Austrian mechanical engineering company and has been offering on the German market for years.

Where are our roots and from when did we start producing filling machines?

These go back to 1971 when Josef Wick and five co-partners founded a mechanical workshop in Vienna.
At that time, the company produced, among other things, glove sewing machines, special components and already the first filling and sealing machines.

How many filling machine customers do we have in Germany?

There are currently over one hundred Wick Machinery customers registered in Germany alone, and the trend is steadily increasing.

To which countries do we deliver our filling lines?

We currently supply four continents. Only Australia has not yet received any filling lines. Our most important market is Germany.

Which industries does the company supply?

In general, we see ourselves as a partner for all industries that have a need for filling and capping machines. Our main customers are mainly the pharmaceutical industry, manufacturers of diagnostics, cosmetics, chemicals and the food industry.

Are the machines intended for small or larger companies?

WIMA’s delivery program includes both small and laboratory machines for start-ups through to complete, interlinked filling, closing and labeling systems, as used primarily by very large companies. The typical customers therefore range from one-person companies (EPU) to multinational corporations.

A key feature of many of our machines is the degree of automation that can be selected flexibly. This means that very many small businesses and start-ups today opt for a manual or semi-automatic filling machine, which can then be automated step by step – in sync with the growth of their own company, as it were – by installing additional modules. The Wick machine grows with the customer.

How do we manage to act so flexibly?

A major contribution to Wick Machinery’s recipe for success is the depth of production and service. The main process steps in machine production take place under one roof. We have our own engineering with the most modern CAD tools, our own control cabinet planning and control cabinet construction, well-equipped mechanical production with modern processing machines, assembly, laboratory and quality control.
Research and development is also located at the same location.

This creates short production routes and quick reaction options to changing requirements.

You have a direct, competent contact person for innovative filling technology. This individual support for each customer is a matter of course for us.

Complete planning, engineering, production, assembly and pre-qualification are united under one roof in our plant near Vienna / Himberg. This enables us to react quickly to your needs.

In addition, we have short response times for any service, format part deliveries and the expansion of systems.

Wick-Machinery is checked annually by a team of experts from the Republic of Austria as a qualified supplier and listed in the contractor register of the Republic. We have excellent references in four continents and more than forty-five years of experience in innovative filling technology!
